The Somerset Levels are prone to widespread flooding, and I wrote this song after the destructive deluge of early 2014. It's about the ruthless power of nature, and the changes we see in our climate that are beginning to affect the creatures and landscapes that we love. Above all, it's about what we as humans can cling to, when all else is washed away.
